A Brief Introduction

Valley Civil Survey Ltd began in September 2000 as a registered partnership of Julian and Annette Hogan, operating as a civil engineering consultancy based in the eastern Waikato town of Paeroa, New Zealand. Since startup Valley Civil Survey has contributed to more than 200 civil engineering projects for local authorities, contractors, consultants and land developers in the Hauraki, Thames-Coromandel, Waikato and Bay of Plenty districts, Auckland and Hamilton. Valley Civil Survey specializes in engineering investigation, design and construction control for land development and infrastructure maintenance projects, which includes:

Valley Civil Survey is also a member of SiteSafe NZ with all employees holding SiteSafe Civil Passports. Members of the survey team hold Transit NZ Temporary Traffic Management Certificates. Our Health and Safety policy has been developed in consultation with SiteSafe. Equipment includes: A survey vehicle equipped with traffic management gear for topo surveys of Level 1 roads; Digital survey and design equipment: a Trimble Geodimeter Total Station and Trimble Terramodel CAD software, a complete civil engineering and surveying package. Designs can be exported to the Total Station in order to set out construction accurately. Valley Civil Survey supplies field and design services from initial survey and investigation to setting out and inspecting the construction project as well as as-built survey and drawings. It is a small company which can provide you with focused technical services, and a quality product based on a clear understanding of your requirements.
